ABEC is recruiting a Project Engineer for its Fermoy, Ireland facility. The role designs, specifies and commissions new and renovated biopharmaceutical process and clean utility equipment, provides engineering support and leads deviation investigations for equipment and manufacturing processes, prepares P&IDs, general arrangements, detailed design drawings and bills of materials, performs equipment verification calculations, and supervises or conducts factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), including travel to customer sites. Requirements: a BS in an Engineering field (Mechanical, Biological, Chemical or equivalent experience); 3 years' post-graduate engineering experience in a related industry is preferred, and 5 years in the BioPharm or piping systems market is preferred; experience with automation and control systems engineering for bioprocesses and Lean/Six Sigma experience are pluses.
