Gannon Eco Limited, Kilbeggan, County Westmeath, is seeking a hands-on Laboratory Manager to lead and coordinate its laboratory team and support mineral processing, product development and R&D activities. The company's work spans industrial mineral recovery, process engineering and environmental sustainability, transforming industrial waste into high-value products. Duties stated in the posting: manage day-to-day laboratory activities, perform and oversee analytical testing, develop analytical methods and procedures, manage laboratory testing and reporting, conduct customer test work, support R&D projects in mineral processing, and maintain the laboratory quality system, equipment calibration and servicing. Essential requirements stated: a degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience and a strong chemistry background), proven people management and leadership experience, and experience maintaining quality documentation and quality systems. Desirable: at least two years' practical analytical laboratory experience, quality control testing experience, laboratory quality systems knowledge, and Lean Manufacturing, 5S and/or Six Sigma knowledge. Full-time, permanent.
